Then, when you can finally pull yourself away, continue on your journey to Big Six Mile Creek Marina State Park. Here you can go boating or fish to your heart’s content. When you reach Niagara Falls, New York, you will absorb some history, enjoy some events and get out into the sun for a wide array of outdoor activities. Niagara Falls has it all. Of course, be sure to stop at Niagara Falls State Park, no matter what time of year you are visiting. You have more than 400 acres to explore and a wide variety of wildlife to see.
While in this intriguing State Park, you won’t want to neglect to see the Cave of the Winds. Feel the rush of the waters of this great falls. The tour is an amazing experience. You can also take a scenic boat tour on a half-hour adventure that will inspire and astonish. The Maid of the Mist Boat Tour requires waterproof clothing. That is how close you get.
Wine trails are another popular attraction at Niagara Falls. The Niagara Wine Trail gives you the opportunity to enjoy many selections of fine wines. This is a surprisingly fertile place with excellent growing conditions. One of the vineyards you will visit on your travels will be the Eveningside Vineyards in Cambria. The European-style wines here can’t be beat.
Certainly you will need a place to park the RV while you go exploring. There are plenty of RV campgrounds in Niagara Falls, including one conveniently located along Route 62 – the Niagara Falls Campground. Free WiFi here is a plus.
You can venture over into Canada and visit Niagara Falls, Ontario for some additional fun. Check out Niagara Botanical Gardens to revel in the amazing scents and sights. Head to the top of the Skylon Tower for some spectacular views.
