A Pennsylvania Revolutionary War RV Vacation Itinerary

Our 3rd itinerary for exploring the history of the American Revolution is set in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

The state of Pennsylvania is also another wise choice for Revolutionary War buffs to visit by RV. Be sure to see Brandywine Battlefield west of Philadelphia, scene of the largest engagement of the Revolutionary War. And what says “American Revolution” better than Valley Forge National Historic Park? One more must – see for RV campers looking for American Revolution history – Historic Philadelphia. Within one square mile of the Old City, travelers will find Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell and dozens more places of historic significance to visit.

These are just a small sample of the rich Revolutionary War history to be seen on your next RV camping vacation.  No matter which state you visit, there are lessons to be learned from the patriots whose dreams brought our nation to life.
