A Massachusetts Revolutionary War RV Vacation Itinerary

Sometimes, we need to dig deep into our country’s history to remember just how amazing our heritage really is. If you, too, are fascinated by America’s early history, sites commemorating the Revolutionary War are the perfect places to visit on your next RV vacation. Here are some things that you can do in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to explore the history of the American Revolution.

Boston National Historic Park
Keep driving into Boston and find an almost overwhelming collection of Revolutionary War historic sites. Boston National Historic Park encompasses more than a dozen places you’ll want to visit to learn more about America’s early struggle for independence.

Walk along the famous Freedom Trail to find the Old North Church, the USS Constitution and the Bunker Hill Monument. You can literally spend a week exploring the streets of historic Boston and not see everything there is to see related to Revolutionary War history!

By the way, if you’d like to stay overnight in the Boston area, the luxurious Normandy Farms Campground is located between Boston and Cape Cod in Foxboro and offers every possible RV camping amenity.
