RV in Death Valley National Park
An El Monte RV in Death Valley National Park. Death Valley National Park is located in Inyo County and northern San Bernardino County in Eastern California. A small portion of the Park is also in southwestern Nye County Esmeralda County in Nevada. The Park encompasses Saline Valley, a large portion of Panamint Valley, almost all of Death Valley, and parts of several mountain ranges.
The Park started as a National Monument in 1933 and became a National Park in 1994. It covers 5,262 square miles.
Death Valley is the hottest and driest place in North America. Death Valley’s floor is the second-lowest point in the Western Hemisphere and the lowest point in North America.
