RV Driving Through Yosemite Valley

Congress created Yosemite National Park in 1890 as the nation’s 3rd national park. The park covers an area of 761,266 acres and reaches across the western slopes of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Yosemite also became a World Heritage Site in 1984.
